We have an unusual a mix of stringing materials including chains, silver plated and coloured wire, elastic, tiger tail and a lovely selections of riibbons for you to browse. SMITTEN BEADS LATEST NEWS
17/01/2021 - HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL BEADS & BEYOND - FEB 2012
One of Smittens favourite designers Rebecca Handy will be featured in the latest issue of Beads & Beyond magazine she has a Bracelet earrings and pendant project and the earrings are on the FRONT COVER!! so don't forget to pop down to the local news agent and get your copy. Rebecca ordered lots of my favourite beads for this one so I can't wait to see it!
NEXT NEWSLETTER UNDER CONSTRUCTION- Our features will be on a fabulous Polymer clay artist to coincide with our Sculpey clay & molds additions to the website. Spring colours, Latest additions plus I will be featuring some of my favourite beads that get a little overlooked.We will also announce the Indian summer/Autumn challenge competition winner (rather late I know)
OUR SEARCH FACITLITY
At the top of the any page on our website you will see a box named SEARCH it's easy to use and a real help if you cant find a particular item. For example you would like to find a metal heart bead which you have bought from us before - click on the search tab and enter heart in the search for box, then click on the category drop down list and scroll down to metal beads and lastly click on search. The website will show you all the metal beads which have the word heart as the product name or in the description text. Similarly you can enter 6mm if you need only beads of that size or gold if you only want to look at the beads we have in that colour. If you don't want to refine the search to one particular category leave the option as ALL CATEGORIES. If you have a previous invoice or you know the product code you can also search using this.
A FEW IMPROVEMENTS
In the next few weeks we will be making some changes to the website - The number of main categories on the left hand side of our home page will be condensed to make navigating the site easier. for example there will only be one category for BEADS click on this and you will then see several sub categories for METAL, RESIN GLASS etc. hopefully this will make finding the item you need a lot quicker.
Lastly Our product images are slowly being updated and resized, sorry the website looks a little messy but with so many products to update it's going to take a while.
