I started Smitten in 2002 initially making cushions, wall hangings and other items for the home, after a fantastic response to my first venture at the Bath Christmas market I introduced our women’s accessories range and opened my first shop in the centre of Bath. Although we are now purely web based the idea behind Smitten Accessories remains the same, to provide unusual and reasonably priced jewellery and handbags made in small quantities. We have continued to go from strength to strength with the accessories web site and now the internet bead shop.

THE SMITTEN BEAD WEBSITE
During the past few years I have come across beautiful beads and findings whilst making jewellery for Smitten Accessories, when I discovered a gorgeous range of metal beads and clasps new to the UK, I decided I had to share my find and hatched my plan for the Smitten Bead website.

I have tried to bring together a collection with unusual extravagant beads and simple inexpensive ones, hopefully something for everyone. From Czech glass to Karen silver, synthetic to High quality resin beads and due to my love of textiles you will also find silk rods and ribbons and my personal favourite our Velvet flowers
